Directions to Upper Ballavarkish:

From the Ferry

Turn left at the roundabout on leaving the ferry terminal, and continue across the next roundabout 50 yards later.  Proceed out of Douglas and turn left at the roundabout at Quarterbridge on the A5.  Continue on the A5 to Ballasalla, turning right and then left at two mini-roundabouts on to the A7 towards Ballabeg.  Continue on the A7, turning right at a T-junction into Ballabeg.  When the A7 turns left after about 200 yards,  continue straight ahead, turning off the main road on to the B42, signposted Ronague.  After about 50 yards turn right on the Grenaby Road (B40).  After 0.9 miles, Upper Ballavarkish will be found on the left hand side of the road.

From the Airport

Turn right out of the airport and continue on the A5 over the level crossing to Ballasalla.  Continue straight across a mini-roundabout and left at the next mini-roundabout on to the A7 towards Ballabeg.  Follow the remaining directions as above.
